Sunny, fall afternoon on Sullivan’s Island

I met Mary during my first year of pharmacy school and didn’t know what to make of this quiet girl in my class. That all changed though as soon as “Goodbye Earl” started playing! We became fast friends and I wouldn’t have made it through all those years of school without her. 

So when Mary asked me to photograph her family, I immediately said yes! We spent the afternoon playing in the sand and water with her nephew and letting her dog, Comet, join in a few photos. From the bright blue sky to the way her nephew, Jack, was playing in the water – it was such a fun and beautiful afternoon.
